Star Wars R2-D2 Birthday Cake

We have seen quite a few different geeky cakes here ate Geeky Gadgets, the latest one will appeal to all the Star Wars fans out there, the Star Wars R2-D2 Birthday Cake.

This fun R2-D2 cake was made by GoblinQueeen from deviantART for her friends birthday, it looks pretty cool even though poor old R2-D2 has been decapitated.

“Metallic shine is edible glitter, silver ‘eye’ pieces I sculpted out of marzipan and my friend covered with the glitter. Big box/lens is painted box (painted by her roommate) with plastic painted package piece to make the lens. Light is chopped off ring from party supply store.”
