Google [GOOG] has decided to give away free WiFi at over 47 airports in the United States over the holiday period, from now until the 15th of January 2010, people will be able to access the free WiFi at airports in the US as well as on Virgin America Flights.

Bowers & Wilkins has launched their first pair of headphones, the P5 which are designed to be used with the iPhone and iPod.

The B&W P5 are a pair of noise isolating headphones with a built in microphone, and they can also be used with your regular home audio equipment as well, the iPod cable can be changed for a B&W gold plated cable, which can be changed via the magnetically attached ear pads.

Samsung Announces ‘Bada’ Mobile OS

Samsung has announced the launch of its own mobile OS designed to be used by its range of smartphones, and Samsung is hoping that its Linux based OS will be able to complete against Google’s Android OS.

The Samsung Bada platform will be completely open, and it will be similar to Nokia’s Maemo and the Linux Mobile Limo Project.

Ricoh GXR Modular Camera System

Ricoh has launched the GXR which they call an ‘interchangeable unit camera system’, so basically it is a modular camera system with a bunch of interchangeable parts.

The Ricoh GXR features interchangeable lenses which slide into the body of the camera, this is designed to keep the body of the camera small, and the interchangeable units change the cameras megapixels.

Nokia Recalls 14 Million Mobile Phone Chargers

Nokia has today announced that they are recalling 14 million mobile phone chargers, the chargers were manufactured by one of Nokia’s third party suppliers China’s BYD Co Ltd.

Nokia have said that the charges could fall apart, which would expose the internals of the charger thus making them potentially dangerous.
