YouTube has today launched a new feature for YouTube publishers to boost their channels recognition using new intro videos, that can now be added at the beginning of their movies.
As you might have already seen a majority of channel owners already insert intro clips at the beginning of their you Tube videos. However the new feature allows publishers to upload just one snippet which can be used across all their videos.
Making it easier for YouTube publishers to keep their movie intro fresh and up to date across the whole library of movies with one simple upload. The intro movie option has been one of the most requested features from YouTube producers, and now allows them to create a distinctive intro for all their videos with ease. It only takes three easy steps to set up on YouTube:
1. Upload the three-second intro video you’d like to use to your channel as an unlisted video.
2. On your channel’s InVideo Programming page, click “Add a channel branding intro” and select the intro from a list of eligible videos.
3. Select which videos you want the intro to appear on. You can choose whether to add it to all of your videos, or just the ones you’ve uploaded after a certain date. You can always remove or change the intro later.
**Note that these intros may not be used as ads, sponsorships, or product placements. We also don’t recommend this feature be used by channels using their videos as advertisements.
