We heard recently that the new Asus ZenFone AR would be going up for sale in the US in August and now the handset is available to pre-order.
Verizon Wireless have started to take pre-orders on the handset. The device is available for $648 or for $27 a month over 24 months.
The handset comes with a 5.7 inch display that has a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it is powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor. There is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage included, plus there is a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The ZenFone AR comes with an 8 megapixel front facing camera for Selfies. On the back of the handset there is a 23 megapixel rear camera plus a motion tracking and depth sensing rear camera.
