The last thing we heard about the new Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone was that it would be made official on the 24th of February.
Now the company’s Hugo Barra has teased the handset in Twitter and basically confirmed that the handset will be announced on that date.

The handset is rumored to come with a 5.2 inch Quad HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
There will apparently be two versions of the handset, one with 3GB RAM / 16GB storage and the other with 4GB RAM / 64GB of storage. The new Mi5 is also rumored to come with a 13 megapixel front facing camera and a 16 megapixel rear camera, it will also come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow
As soon as we get some more information about the new Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone, we will let you guys know.
