The Huawei Mate 10 Pro was previously supposed to launch on AT&T and Verizon wireless. AT&T changed their mind bout selling the handset and Verizon were rumored to be doing to same.
According to a recent report Verizon has now decided to drop all Huawei smartphones from its network. the news comes in a report from Bloomberg which states that this is due to pressure from the US government.
This is something we heard previously when the handset was cancelled from AT&T, over national security concerns that have claimed that Huawei has ties to government agencies. The handset is being sold in the US directly by Huawei.
This has also affected the roll out of 5G networks in the US as Huawei was expected to be one of the first companies to launch a 5G smartphones. Both AT&T and Verizon will not have access to the device because they have decided not to carry the company’s products.
