It looks like the launch of the Verizon iPhone 4 has already been a success for both Apple and Verizon, as yesterday both companies started offering the iPhone 4 to existing Verizon customers.

There were reports of the Verizon website crashing due to huge demand and also Apple’s website had problems taking orders for the Verizon iPhone 4.

It only went on sale to existing Verizon customers, and already the stocks that Verizon had have now sold out and customers are told to wait until the 9th of February when Verizon will start selling the iPhone to new customers as well as existing ones.

It will be interesting to see what the sales figures are like after a couple of months, we suspect that Apple’s iPhone sales figures will jump significantly by the end of the quarter. Have a look at our article on the difference between the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, and also make sure you check out our iPhone 4S review.
