This week the new owners of the previously owned Sony Vaio personal computer brand have unveiled a new prototype for a hybrid laptop/tablet they have created specifically for illustrators, designers and artists that will soon be launched in Japan.
The new prototype Vaio hybrid tablet is fitted with a large 12.3 inch high resolution screen offering a resolution of 2,560 x 1,704 pixels and comes equipped with an electronic stylus and wireless keyboard.
The new Vaio prototype tablet was unveiled for the very first time this week during a conference organised by Adobe Systems held in Los Angeles California. The new Vaio tablet is expected to be made available during next May although it may only be launched in Japan for the time being.
Although no information has been released as yet on the official cost of the new hybrid tablet, its thought that when it does launch the hybrid Vaio tablet will be priced around ¥200,000 or around $1,800. Whenever more information or more detailed specifications are released by the new owners of the Vaio brand we will keep you updated as always.
