It looks like we now have more information on the specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S8 Active.
The handset will be exclusive to AT&T in the US and it is designed to be a rugged version of the Galaxy S8.
Some slides have been leaked comparing the Galaxy S8 to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. These slides reveal a number of specifications that we did not know about before.
The Galaxy S8 Active will come with a 5.8 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. The handset will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built in storage. There will also be a microSD card slot which takes up to 256GB cards.
Other specifications on the handset include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile processor and high end cameras. The front camera will come with 8 megapixels for Selfies. On the back of the handset there will be dual 12 megapixel cameras.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will come with a 4,000 mAh battery and Android Nougat. The handset is designed to be dust and waterproof and will feature an IP68 rating and also a MIL-STG-810G rating.
The device will launch in two colors, Titanium Gold and Meteor Gray. As yet we do not have any details on an exact release date for the handset. As soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
