We have already seen a video of a Samsung Galaxy S5 water test, now we have another, although in the latest video the handset is put through some more rigorous water tests.
According to Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S5 can be placed in water for up to 30 minutes, the video below shows the handset being placed in a swimming pool and also a washing machine.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 conforms to the iP67 certification, but as the video shows, it performed better than it should based on the rating it was given.
The washing machine test is impressive, as we did not expect the Samsung Galaxy S5 to withstand this one, the handset is moved around significantly and there could be more chance of water getting into the device than when it was just sat in water.
It would appear from the video that Samsung have understated the water resistance of the Samsung Galaxy S5, and the device appears to be more water proof than Samsung had announced.
