We have been hearing rumors about a Tag Heuer smartwatch for some time and now we have more details on LMVH’s plans to take on the Apple Watch.
The Tag Heuer smartwatch will apparently be based on their Carrera analog watch range and the company has apparently teamed up with Intel on the device.
Tag Heuer is looking to launch their new smartwatch next autumn and it looks like the company has some interesting plans for the device.
The Tag Heuer Carrera range are the companies most popular analog watches and the new smartwatch version will feature a similar design and apparently give you the impression that you are wearing an analog watch.
Whilst the new smartwatch from Tag Heuer may look like an analog watch the device will come with all of the features of a smartwatch and will include fitness tracking, notifications and more.
This is quite a smart move for the company as they will basically be able to continue selling a digital version of their most popular watch with all the features of a smartwatch, as yet there are no details on what OS the device will run, although there have been rumors of Google being involved in the project.
As soon as we get some more details on this new luxury smartwatch from Tag Heuer and also some photos of the device, we will let you guys know.
