It looks like T-Mobile is getting ready to launch some data-only Simple Choice plans. According to a recent report, these new plans will launch tomorrow, the 30th of March.
The news comes from a leaked internal T-Mobile document that has revealed the pricing of these data-only Simple Choice plans.
Details of the New Data-Only Plans
These new Simple Choice data-only plans will not be available with the $10 Automatic Mobile Internet Discount. Prices for the plans will start at $20 a month. For $20, you will get 2GB of data. If you need more data, you can opt for the $35 plan, which offers 6GB of data. For those who require even more, the $50 plan provides 10GB of data. The higher-tier plans include $65 for 14GB of data, $80 for 18GB of data, and $95 for 22GB of data each month. Additionally, these plans will include unlimited text messages, making them a comprehensive option for users who primarily rely on data and texting.
Comparing T-Mobile’s Offerings
T-Mobile’s new data-only plans are designed to cater to a growing segment of users who prefer data over traditional voice services. This move aligns with the increasing trend of consumers using data-heavy applications such as streaming services, social media, and online gaming. By offering a range of data options, T-Mobile aims to attract a diverse group of users, from light data consumers to heavy users who need substantial data allowances.
For example, a user who primarily uses their device for checking emails and browsing the web might find the 2GB plan sufficient. On the other hand, a user who frequently streams videos and music might opt for the 10GB or higher plans. The inclusion of unlimited text messages adds value to these plans, ensuring that users can stay connected without worrying about additional texting charges.
We will have more details about these new data-only plans from T-Mobile when they are made official tomorrow.
