Last week, Apple released the updated iPad line up, including the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3. Both devices are already available for pre-order at the online Apple Store.
If you’re a T-Mobile customer, you be glad to know that the Magenta carrier is taking pre-orders of the tablets as of today, with October 29th shipping.
Both tablets will be available in all three configuration options (16/64/128GB), and will start with $0 down for well-qualified customers on Simple Choice plans. The 16GB iPad Air 2 costs $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $26.24, while the 64GB variant is $99 down and 24 equal payments of 26.24. For storage hungry users, the 128GB model requires an upfront payment of $199 while the monthly cost remains the same.
For those interested in the iPad Mini 3, here’s the complete pricing from T-Mobile:
- 16GB – $0 down – 24 monthly payments of $22.08
- 64GB – $99 down – 24 monthly payments of $22.08
- 128GB – $199 down – 24 monthly payments of $22.08
Apple iPad Air 2 comes with an A8X processor, Touch ID sensor, Apple Pay support, and runs iOS 8 as its operating system. The new tablet also features an improved design, and a new gold color option as well. As far as the iPad Mini 3 is concerned, it’s not a significant upgrade, and just brings a few minor upgrades on board.
