If you’re an avid golfer looking to improve your game a new technology device is available to monitor your swing called SwingTIP Golf Swing Analyzer. The device is a Bluetooth-enabled 3-D motion sensor that you attach to your golf club. It records data about your swing and can send details to a special website or apps running on iOS or Android devices.
The 3-D motion sensor weighs about 1 ounce and is roughly the size of flash drive. It connects to the shaft of your golf club and records numerous details about your swing providing video-like swing animation. Data collected includes mechanical statistics for instructional learning, and performance-tracking scorecards can be uploaded to the Internet.
The device runs on an internal rechargeable battery good for about 200 swings. Pricing for the system including app is $129.99. The device will ship on October 17 and can be pre-ordered right now.
