Not too long ago, AT&T Moto X started receiving the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update after the soak tests earlier this month.
Now, it seems Sprint is kicking off the soak test for the Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the Moto X. Those enrolled in the Motorola Feedback Network received an email for the update, and it’s rolling out now.
The email doesn’t mention that its Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, but considering that it’s rolling out for the AT&T variant of the device, it’s likely that it’s the latest update.
The update shouldn’t bring too many new features for the device, but mostly enhancements and bug fixes, including improved battery life, updated phone dialer, and improved camera image quality. In addition, the update also brings fix for an important OpenSSL exploit, which has already rolled out to the Nexus devices.
The soak test has begun, so it shouldn’t take too much time for the carrier to roll out the update for its users. Stay tuned, we’ll update you as soon as it begins.
