The SparkFun Thing Plus development board based on the Adafruit Feather format Is now available to purchase priced at just under $20. The ATSAMD51J20 is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller that utilizes a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor with Floating Point Unit (FPU) explains Sparkfun. A unique combination of 8-bit and 32-bit technologies!
The development board is capable of running up to 120MHz, up to 1MB of flash memory, up to 256KB of SRAM with ECC, up to 6 SERCOM interfaces as well as providing a 600mA 3.3V regulator and LiPo charger. Sparkfun explain a little more :
