Alongside the new Xperia Z3, Xperia E3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact, the Japanese OEM also introduced their latest 8-inch tablet to the world dubbed as the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
The tablet brings top of the line specifications, featuring an 8-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact pushes the boundaries of technology innovation by bringing our flagship Z3 series features in a compact size, continuing our new standard of offering premium experiences in a choice of form factor for consumers,” says Calum MacDougall, Director of Product Marketing Programme at Sony Mobile Communications.
Under the hood, there’s a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for expansion.
Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is touted as the world’s thinnest tablet by Sony, measuring 213 x 123 x 6.4 mm and weighs only 280 grams.
It runs Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system out of the box, and is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery. The device comes with an 8.1MP camera for photos and videos, with a 2.2MP front-facing camera for selfies. The tablet will hit retail later this month in black and white color options.
