The Sony Xperia Z2 is about to launch in the UK, and now it would appear that the handset will get wireless charging with some official add on accessories from Sony.
According to the guys over at Clove, Sony are releasing a charging case for the Xperia Z2 that can we used in conjunction with a wireless charging plate.
Sony will be offering the WCR12 wireless charging cover for the Xperia Z2 for £69.99 in the UK, the case will be available in black and white, you will also need a WCH10 charging plate which will set you back £54.99.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features a 5.2 inch full high definition display that is equipped with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz.
The Xperia Z2 also comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion, the handset also comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features front and rear facing cameras, on the front we have a 2 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back we have a 20 megapixel camera which is capable of recording 4k video.
