Not too long ago, Sony halted the pre-orders of their latest Xperia Z2 flagship on European shores due to some component manufacturing issues, and announced it would hit the region in May.
Now, it seems Sony has reopened the Xperia Z2 pre-orders in Europe with an expected delivery time to be “beginning of May.”
The company has started taking pre-orders in various European countries, including UK, Spain, France and Poland. Sony says the SIM-free model will ship in the beginning of May, so we could expect deliveries from major retailers and carriers to be a few days ahead.
Sony Xperia Z2 rocks a 5.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16GB storage with a microSD card slot of up to 128GB, 20MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a 3,200 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKAt as its operating system. It will hit retail shelves in three colors: black, white and purple.
As far as the price is concerned, it will hit retail in the UK for GBP 599. Are you going to get your hands on the latest flagship device from Sony? Let us know in the comments below.
