Sony are also holding their IFA press conference this week on Wednesday the 4th of September, where they will unveil their new Sony Xperia Z1 smartphone, the device was previously known as the Sony Honami.
On the weekend we heard that the Sony Xperia Z1 would go on sale later this month, with a possible launch date for the handset of the 24th of September.
The Sony Xperia Z1 is rumored to feature a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, processing will be provided by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will feature 2GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the Xperia Z1 will include a 20 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera, this will be the main feature of the handset and it will also come with a 2 megapixel front facing Sony Exmor R camera.
The Sony Xperia Z1 will come with 16GB of built in storage plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 64GB cards, it will also come with Android Jelly Bean.
