Sony has today unveiled two new editions of its new PS Vita handheld gaming console finished in Cosmic Red and Sapphire Blue to add a little colour to the PS Vita range.
The new red and blue PS Vita editions will first be launching in Japan on November 15th, but unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet. However, when more information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
Enhanced Features and Specifications
To re-cap, the PS Vita in any colour is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A9 core (4 core) processor, which ensures smooth and efficient performance for gaming and multitasking. This is complemented by a SGX543MP4+ graphics chip, providing high-quality visuals and an immersive gaming experience. The device is fitted with a 5-inch (16:9), 960 x 544 resolution, OLED multitouch screen capacitive display that supports 16 million colours, making the visuals vibrant and crisp.
In addition to its impressive display, the PS Vita also features both front and rear cameras, allowing for augmented reality gaming and video calls. The rear touchpad adds another layer of interaction, enabling unique gameplay mechanics that are not possible with traditional controls.
