Samsung has been trying to get its own mobile Tizen OS to take off for some time and now according to a recent report, Tizen is now the fourth most popular smartphone OS.
The news comes in a report from Strategy Analytics, and covers the global smartphone market for quarter three of 2015.
According to the report, Tizen is now the fourth largest mobile OS globally and it has taken the number four spot from BlackBerry.
It will be interesting to see if Samsung is able to push Tizen further up the list, the company has some new Tizen OS handsets in the works and they just launched their latest device, the Samsung Z3.
Samsung are also using Tizen in their smart TVs and in their smart watches, the OS is used in their latest smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S2.
