Samsung launched their latest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S III in the US last week, the device went on sale in Europe last month, and now it would appear that it has already become an extremely popular handset for Samsung.
Prior to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III, we heard a number of rumors that Samsung had sold over 9 million pre-orders of the Galaxy S III smartphone.
Samsung has finally revealed some sales details on their new Android device, and according to JK Shin, the head of Samsung’s mobile phone business, they will have sold more than 10 million Galaxy S III smartphones by July.
This certainly is an impressive number, although hardly surprising considering how many of the devices have been pre-orderd, we suspect that this may end up being Samsung’s most popular smartphone to date.
