We recently saw some sketches of the new Samsung Galaxy X and now a schematic has been leaked for the new Samsung Galaxy S9. The schematic reveals some more details about Samsung’s new 2018 flagship smartphone.
If these are real then the new Samsung Galaxy S9 will have a single rear camera, the handset will also come with a rear fingerprint camera. That would mean that it would only be the Galaxy S9 Plus that will come with a dual rear camera, have a look at the pictures below.
The Galaxy S9 will apparently feature a single 12 megapixel camera on the back and the S9 Plus dual 12 megapixel cameras. The handset will come with a choice of processors depending on the region. Some countries will get the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and others will get the Exynos 9810.
The new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will apparently come with 6GB of RAM, there may also be an 8GB model. The handset will features 64GB of storage as standard and there is the possiblity of a top end handset with 512GB of storage.
The handset is rumored to come with improved facial recognition and we also heard yesterday that the device will come with an updated iris scanner. Samsung are rumored to be launching their Galaxy flagships earlier this year, we are expecting to see the handsets at Mobile World Congress in February. We are also expecting a new Galaxy S9 Mini to launch next year, although it may not appears at MWC 2018.
