Samsung recently released a software update for their Samsung Galaxy S8 and their Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. Since the update was released a number of owners of the handsets have had an issue with the fast charging feature on their device.
Some owners of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have reported that faster charging is no longer working since they installed the most recent update. This does not appear to be happening to everyone though.

Firmware update has screwed up my fast charging feature on S8+; tested charging block on S7 Edge and all is fine! Good ol’ Samsung and there software updates again. Bunch of idiots who accept no responsibility!
