T-Mobile has released a software update for two of Samsung’s smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
The software update for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus comes with the latest security updates from Google for Android.
The update includes Google’s July security patch for Android and it patches a number of vulnerabilities in the mobile OS. The July Android security patch fixes 65 common vulnerabilities and also 16 exploits that are specific to Samsung devices.
The software update for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has been released as an over the air update, the S8 version has the firmware number G950USQU1AQGA and the S8 Plus G955USQU1AQGA.
The update should be available for your handset as of now, it is being released as an over at air update and you can check to see if it is available from the settings menu.
