We have heard a lot of rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphones, previously we thought there would be two models, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
Now according to Evan Blass, there will be three version of the Galaxy S7 launching this year, the third one is the Galaxy S7 Edge+.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are both rumored to come with a 5.1 inch display with a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the S7 Edge will have a curved glass display like the S6 Edge.
Both handsets will come with two processor options, different ones for different regions, these will include the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and Samsung’s Exynos 8990 processor.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will also come with 4GB of RAM and a range of storage options, there are also rumors that we may see the return of a microSD card slot in this years handsets.
Other rumored specifications include a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera. Whilst the 12 megapixel camera on the back of the handsets has less megapixels than the Galaxy S6 range, it will feature Samsung’s new BRITECELL camera sensor which will bring improved photos and videos to the handsets.
We have not heard much about the Galaxy S7 Edge+, this handset will feature a larger display around 5.6 or 5.7 inches, it is not clear as yet what the resolution will be, it will either feature a Quad HD display or there is also the possibility of a 4K Ultra HD display in this handset.
The internal hardware on the Galaxy S7 Edge+ is expected to be the same as the other handsets, all three devices will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Samsung normally launches its new smartphones in March or April, although recent rumors have suggested an earlier launch this year, possibly some time in February.
