We heard earlier about the Galaxy Note 8 getting the January security patch. Now the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is the latest smartphone to get the January security patch.
Samsung has released a new software update for their Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone, the update includes Google’s Android security patches for a number of software vulnerabilities in Android for January.
The software update also includes some fixes for software vulnerabilities in Samsung’s own software. The software update comes with the build number G928GUBU4CRA1 and it has been released as an over the air update.
The update has been released in Mexico so far and it is expected to land in more countries soon. You can check to see if it is available for your handset by going to Settings> Software update.
