Xbox PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) players interested in learning more about the performance and frame rates they can expect after installing the latest patch which was rolled out by the games developers in the last week. Are sure to enjoy this new video created by the team at Digital Foundry which compares the Xbox One X vs Xbox One performance. The latest update is the second major patch to rollout to the Xbox platform to help smooth out issues, glitches and bugs which have hindered gameplay since the arrival of PUBG on the Xbox One X and Xbox One consoles.
The testing was carried out across eight games during which the Digital Foundry team definitely saw performance advantages during gameplay for Xbox One X users when compared to the Xbox One gameplay, which saw players struggling a little more to overcome performance issues that still lurk within the Xbox PUBG game.
To recap for those that are not engaged in the awesome PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds phenomenon, that has taken Steam PC charts by storm, before being made available on the Xbox platform. PUBG takes the form of a multiplayer online Battle Royale game allowing up to 100 players to battle it out on huge maps, that decrease in size as the game time passes. PUBG can be played in either first person or third person views and has been developed and published by PUBG Corporation built on unreal engine 4 and is currently available on PC and Xbox platforms. No information has been announced as yet whether the game will launch on PlayStation, but as soon as any news comes to light we will keep you up-to-date as always.
