One of the biggest draws of Sony’s powerhouse handheld has been its intriguing social gaming component. However, it’s traditional social networking that is giving Vita users a hard time, as the handheld’s Facebook app has been taken down from the Store due to reports of crashes and other issues.
The problem seems to lie with Facebook, but while Sony is undoubtedly working on a fix, they have admitted that “currently there is no timescale for this.” Not to tell Sony their business, but I’m pretty sure that reminding people that they are already carrying around another device that can access Facebook and play games is perhaps not the best idea.
