What if your keyboard could click, scroll and recognise gestures? Well the Prestigio Click&Touch touch sensor gesture keyboard can and is due to launch in the coming months. The keyboard which measures just 283 x 132 x 16 mm in size and weighs 307 g uses Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity to connect to Windows, MacOS, Android and Samsung TV operating platforms.
The Prestigio Click&Touch offers two unique modes, automatically triggered depending on user behaviour. The Type mode which offers a standard keyboard, while the Touch mode transforms the surface of the keyboard into a touchpad offering a giant trackpad that can be tapped, swiped and used to scroll with ease. Check out the promotional video below to learn more about its unique design.
“A separate touch panel is not needed for a keyboard, as the keys perform its functions for you,” said company founders Valentin Sokol and Mikhail Krupenkov. “All you need to do is swipe across them to control the cursor or perform other operations. It is convenient, functional and saves time as you do not need to constantly change the position of your hand. Actually, it offers a totally new experience of interacting with a computer as you do not need to think about input devices as everything is done intuitively.”
The unique Prestigio Click&Touch keyboard will first be available throughout the Commonwealth of Independent States and Baltic states sometime during August 2019 and will roll out further afield in time. Unfortunately, no information on pricing has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always.
