The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is Porsche’s most powerful road car to date. Porsche recently decided to see if they could break the Nürburgring world record for the fastest road going sports car.
In the video below we get to see Porsche take on the Nürburgring in their new 911 GT2 RS. The car has 700 horsepower and a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 2.8 seconds.
The video below shows the same record attempt from inside the new 911 GT2 RS.
So Porsche managed to set a new world record of 6 minutes and 47.3 seconds. The previous record of 6:52.01 seconds was held by the Lamborghini Huracan Performante.
