Philips has added a new curved display to its range with the launch of the Philips 349X7FJEW which comes with a 34 inch screen.
The Philips 349X7FJEW curved display has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and it comes with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels.
With the 1800R curvature, users of this new X Line curved display can look forward to a highly immersive experience, with an even better focus on activities in environments such as the home where there is likely to be a lot of distraction. Users can focus more easily on what they are doing, for example watching a film, touching up photos, creating their own videos or doing after-hours work on spreadsheets and documents. Particularly with detail-rich tasks, the curved display promotes concentration by creating an increased perception of depth, with more personal space.
Inside that personal viewing space, users have all the performance they need to enjoy activities for longer. With an UltraWide Quad HD resolution and a panoramic 21:9 format, the display provides generous screen real estate with 3440 x 1440 pixels: that means more pixels to show images with, and – perfect for a display that is great at mixing business with pleasure – more space for users to multitask when they want to keep tabs on office mail, check documents and closely follow a live sports match, all at the same time, all with perfect clarity and sharpness. Videography is also brilliant: the screen is wide enough to view the entire timeline at once, and the 117.3 % (CIE1931) sRGB colour gamut ensures that keen photographers and video-makers will enjoy great colour reproduction. Thanks to AMD FreeSync™ technology, video playback is super-smooth, with no stuttering, tearing or motion blur.
