There’s no shortage of power banks available in the market, but the folks at OnePlus are going to introduce their own, at least in the US for now.
Known simply as the OnePlus Power Bank, the accessory is set to launch in the US later today, that is, March 17th carrying an affordable $14.99 price tag.
The power bank comes in two color options: black and white. The power bank comes with a massive 10,000 mAh battery capacity so it’s a pretty sweet deal considering the price of other power banks available in the market. It features two USB ports, allowing users to charge multiple devices at the same time.
The company announced the Power Bank will also hit Europe and India in the near future as they currently taking care of some logistics issues to ship the batteries to the regions. OnePlus said in a forum post,
As for our fans in Europe and India, you won’t have to wait long, either. We are ironing out the logistics process for a smoother shipping experience. Some of you may be aware that shipping “pure batteries” (any battery that is not connected to or inside another product) is extremely complex due to the special shipping requirements. This led to high shipping costs for the batteries, which would’ve resulted in a more expensive product, and a customer experience not on par with OnePlus standards. We wouldn’t ask our fans to settle for anything less. So, we are looking into alternative methods that will bring the Power Banks to European fans without compromising the cost.
