Adidas and Spotify have this week announced a new partnership that will enable owners of Adidas’s SmartRun Android watch to be able to listen to Spotify tunes offline.
The new Adidas’s SmartRun Spotify offline feature is expected to launch later this year, sometime in the final quarter, and shows that Adidas is definitely looking to push the features and functionality of its Android fitness watch even after its launch.
Adidas and Spotify have also announced this week the creation of a new web tool for runners that allows them to create playlists of their favourite tunes from the Spotify library, that can be used on your smartphone or WiFi connected devices, until the offline features arrives.
“Adidas and Spotify partner up to add endless energy to your run! Enter the location, distance and intensity of your run to discover local routes and unlock a music playlist that will boost your run!”
To check out the new feature, jump over to the official website for details and try out the new playlist compilation creator, to enhance your workout.
