Rikomagic has this week added a new addition to their range of set-top TV boxes, in the form of the newly unveiled Rikomagic Bay Trail-T powered TV Box that is expected to be launched later this year.
The new Rikomagic TV set-top box makes a change in direction from the currently available hardware that are powered by AllWinner, Rockchip, and AMLogic and now offers an Intel Bay Trail-T Atom processor for users to enjoy.
The new Intel Bay Trail-T Atom systems are supported by 2GB of RAM and come including 32GB of internal storage. Together with a handy microSD card slot that will allow you to expand the internal storage by an additional 64GB. Allowing you to install Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 operating system and still have plenty of space available for your documents, media and applications.
Other features of the latest addition to the Rikomagic TV set-top range include connectivity via 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi or 10/100 Ethernet connection and the system will come preloaded with Kodi.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Rikomagic, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
