If you are in the market for a new Android TV box you might be interested in the new Minix Neo X8-H Plus that has launched this week and is now available to purchase online for around $160.
The Minix Neo X8-H Plus is powered by a 2 GHz Amlogic S812 ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor which is supported by 2GB of RAM and Mali 450 graphics processing.
Other features of the new Minix Neo X8-H Plus mini PC include 802.11ac WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Together with support for 16GB of storage with optical S/PDIF output, IR receiver and a microSD card reader to expand its storage even further when required.
The Neo X8-H Plus also supports H.265/HEVC video playback at resolutions up to 4K and comes supplied with two remotes offering a standard IR remote control and a second model with air mouse functionality. Together with the addition of an external antenna all supplied running Android 4.4 KitKat, but unfortunately not Google’s latest Android TV software.
The new Minix Neo X8-H Plus mini PC TV Box is now available to purchase online from the likes of Geekbuying and Gearbest priced at around $160.
