The other day we saw some leaked photos of the new Mercedes E Class, the car will debut at the Detroit Motor Show later this month.
Now Mercedes has released a new video for CES and the video shows the current C Class and S Class as well as the new Mercedes E Class.
Engine Options and Performance
There are expected to be a number of four and six cylinder versions of the new E Class as well as a plug-in hybrid model, the E350e. The four-cylinder engines are likely to include both petrol and diesel options, providing a balance between performance and fuel efficiency. The six-cylinder versions will cater to those looking for more power and a sportier driving experience. The plug-in hybrid model, the E350e, is particularly noteworthy as it represents Mercedes’ commitment to sustainable driving solutions. This model is expected to offer a significant electric-only range, making it ideal for city driving while still providing the flexibility of a traditional combustion engine for longer trips.
Advanced Technology and Features
The new E Class is not just about performance; it is also packed with advanced technology and features. One of the highlights is the new MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, which includes a large touchscreen, voice control, and advanced navigation features. This system is designed to provide a seamless and intuitive user experience, making it easier for drivers to access information and control various functions of the car.
Safety is another area where the new E Class excels. It is expected to come with a range of advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. These features are designed to make driving safer and more comfortable, reducing the risk of accidents and helping drivers to stay in control at all times.
The interior of the new E Class is also expected to be a major selling point. It will feature high-quality materials and a luxurious design, providing a comfortable and stylish environment for both the driver and passengers. The seats are likely to be highly adjustable and may include features such as heating, cooling, and massage functions, ensuring maximum comfort on long journeys.
We will have more details on the new 2016 E Class from Mercedes Benz when it is made official later this month.
