Gaming and PC hardware peripheral manufacturer Razer has this week announced the addition of two new Hammerhead Gaming Earphones to the range in the form of the Razer Hammerhead USB-C and Razer Hammerhead for iOS Mercury. Both of which feature a digital connection allowing you to use the new earphones on mobile devices without a 3.5 mm connection. Encased in aluminium the earphones are fitted with flat cables and bi-flange ear tips for passive noise isolation together with inline remotes and 10 mm dynamic drivers.

The Razer Hammerhead USB-C is the perfect companion for the Razer Phone and other devices without 3.5 mm audio jacks, while the Razer Hammerhead for iOS Mercury Edition blends with iPhone colors. Razer Hammerhead USB-C houses a custom-tuned DAC converter with digital output to produce clean, unprocessed audio from a USB-C enabled Android phone. On the other hand, the Razer Hammerhead for iOS Mercury Edition leverages digital output of Apple Lightning connector source-direct audio without processing for maximally pure, accurate, mobile sound.
