Anyone in the market for an affordable 3D printer might be interested in a new project that has launched over on the Kickstarter crowdfunding website this week in the form of the NemoMaker N1 3D printer.

The NemoMaker N1 3D printer offers a build volume of 200 x 200 x 200 mm and offers users a maximum printing speed of 200 mm/s, with a maximum printing resolution of 25 microns using 1.75 mm PLA or ABS 3D printing filament. Its creators explain a little more :
“The Nemomaker N1 is all in one 3d printer. 3D printing, Laser cutter, laser engraving and more modular functions. It’s easy, it’s stylish, it’s cost effective and it’s for you. The Nemomaker N1 is the printer that will have more fun in your life and work.
Laser cutting is a technology that uses a powerful laser to cut or engrave flat sheet materials such as paper, wood, plastic, fabric etc. It works by directing the output of a high-power laser at the material to be cut / engraved. The material then either melts, burns or vaporizes away, leaving an edge with a high-quality surface finish. “
Once the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign is successfully completed, delivery of the NemoMaker N1 will commence in April 2015.
