The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to come with an Iris scanner and now we have some more details on this new feature on Samsung’s latest smartphone.
Recently Samsung imported some Iris scanners into India and the devices were listed on India Zaubu imports database a parts for Samsung Mobile, which suggests that Samsung are getting ready to launch a new device with an Iris scanner built in.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to come with a 5.8 inch display that will have a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor which is basically an overclocked version of the 820.
The handset is also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and storage options from 32GB up to 256GB, the device will also have the same cameras as the Galaxy S7 range which will include a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera.
The current Galaxy Note is the Galaxy Note 5, this years model should launch as the Note 6 although Samsung are apparently skipping the ‘6’ this year and launching the handset as the Note 7.
We previously heard that the new Galaxy Note 7 would launch in August, the device is rumored to go on sale some time in the first week of August.
