
Yesterday we heard some details about the details about the new 3D facial recognition coming to Apple’s iPhone 8 and now we have some more details on what Apple has planned.
According to a recent report the new iPhone 8 will not come with a fingerprint sensor, instead Apple wil use a 3D facial recognition sensor combined with eye scanning for security.
Apple are ditching the home button on the new iPhone 8, previous rumors had suggested a fingerprint scanner under the glass, although this is apparently not ready for this years iPhone and instead Apple will use their new 3D face scanning technology.
Apple’s iPhone 8 will get a complete redesign, the handset will come with an edge to edge display with an ultra slim bezel, it will also feature a stainless steel chassis and will come with a glass back.
Apple will introduce a range of new hardware in this years iPhone, this will include a new Apple A11 processor which will provide increased performance and also improved graphics.
The iPhone 8 will mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, so this new device will be a big launch for Apple and we are expecting it to happen some time in September.
Apple will also introduce two other new iPhones, these are rumored to be called the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, although they will come with a new design over the existing iPhone 7 and 7 Plus handsets. We are looking forward to finding out more details about Apple’s iPhone 8, this will be the handsest first major redesign in a few years.
