Microsoft has today announced that its Mixer streaming service now supports Lightstream Studio effects thanks to a new partnership with the development team. For those unfamiliar with Lightstream Studio the service offers a web-based streaming studio that enables creators to focus more on their content instead of learning technical skills. If you are looking to make your streams look more professional, Lightstream Studio makes stream customisation just as easy as starting a Mixer stream and the good news is the service is completely free.
Mixer streamers can route their feed into Lightstream Studio To allow the easy addition of images and overlays, text or switching between scenes providing an endless supply of customisations to keep your stream “fresh and polished”. Other third party services such as StreamLabs, StreamJar or Tipeeestream can also be linked using the Lightstream settings. “It’s super powerful and incredibly easy to use. Lightstream Studio is accessible from any supported browser on PC, Mac, or Tablet so streamers can manage their production from the device they feel most comfortable with. Streamers can even go to mixer.golightstream.com on any mobile device to remote control their stream for scene switching!”
Microsoft Mixer broadcasting is a feature built directly into the Xbox One games console and is also available for Windows 10 PCs, and the Mixer Create application is available on both iOS and Android devices.
