We previously heard a rumor that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 would be launching before the new iPad Pro, the iPad Pro is expected in September.
Now according to a recent report, the new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will launch in October, the tablet will come with Windows 10.
The news of an October launch for the Surface Pro 4 comes from DigiTimes who have said the information comes from Microsoft’s supply chain.
Following the recent market rumor that Microsoft has placed a large order for Samsung Electronics’ 256GB solid state drive (SSD) to be used for its new Surface tablet, the related upstream supply chain reportedly has recently been notified to start mass shipments of components in September with the tablet estimated to become available in the market in October, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.
Microsoft is rumored to launch two versions of their Surface Pro 4 tablet, one with a 12 inch display, the other with a 14 inch display, both tablets will apparently come with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels.
