LG has unveiled a new addition to their range of short throw projectors with the launch of the LG MiniBeam PF1000U that is capable of projecting a 100 inch image from just 38 cm away.
If you are looking for a slightly smaller image, the device is also capable of projecting a 60 inch image from just 11 cm. The LG MiniBeam PF1000U will be launching soon throughout Europe and will be priced at €1299.
Advanced Features and Connectivity
Other features of the short throw projector include 1000 lumens light output together with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 native resolution. This ensures that the images are bright and clear, even in rooms with some ambient light. The projector also supports a variety of services such as Miracast, DLNA, and Apple’s Airplay, making it easy to stream content from your smartphone, tablet, or computer directly to the projector.
Included connections take the form of 2 x HDMI-in ports, 2 x USB ports, a DTV tuner, Bluetooth sound out, and 2 x 3W internal speakers. The HDMI ports allow you to connect multiple devices such as a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or streaming device. The USB ports can be used to play media files directly from a USB drive, making it a versatile option for both home entertainment and business presentations.
Portability and Ease of Use
One of the standout features of the LG MiniBeam PF1000U is its portability. Weighing just 2.1 kg, it is easy to move from room to room or take with you on the go. The compact design does not compromise on performance, making it an excellent choice for those who need a powerful projector that is also easy to transport.
The projector also comes with a built-in digital TV tuner, allowing you to watch live TV without the need for an external tuner. This makes it a great option for outdoor movie nights or impromptu viewing sessions. The Bluetooth sound out feature lets you connect the projector to a Bluetooth speaker for enhanced audio quality, although the built-in 3W speakers are sufficient for smaller spaces.
