Yesterday we saw a teaser image of the new Lenovo Z5S smartphone, the handset will come with an O shaped cutout on the front of the display for the camera.
Now a video has been released which shows the new Lenovo Z5S smartphone in action and it gives us a look at how the handset will look with the O shaped cutout when in use, have a look at the video below.
Design and Display
The Z5S smartphone from Lenovo will come with a 6.3 inch display, which is expected to offer a Full HD+ resolution. The O shaped cutout, also known as a punch-hole design, is becoming increasingly popular as it allows for a larger screen-to-body ratio, providing users with a more immersive viewing experience. This design choice eliminates the need for a notch, which has been a common feature in many smartphones over the past few years. The punch-hole design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, as it maximizes the display area while still accommodating the front-facing camera.
Performance and Specifications
The Lenovo Z5S is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, which is known for its efficiency and performance. This chipset is designed to handle a variety of tasks with ease, from everyday activities like browsing and social media to more demanding applications like gaming and video editing. The handset is also rumored to come with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the variant, which should provide smooth multitasking capabilities.
In terms of storage, the Z5S is likely to offer 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with the possibility of expanding it further via a microSD card slot. This ensures that users have ample space for their apps, photos, videos, and other data.
The camera setup on the Lenovo Z5S is expected to be impressive as well. The rear camera system is rumored to feature a triple-lens setup, which could include a primary sensor, a wide-angle lens, and a depth sensor. This combination would allow for versatile photography options, from capturing wide landscapes to taking detailed portrait shots with bokeh effects. The front-facing camera, housed in the punch-hole cutout, is expected to be a high-resolution sensor, perfect for selfies and video calls.
The Z5S is also anticipated to come with a range of connectivity options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Additionally, it is likely to feature a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is becoming a rarity in modern smartphones.
The handset is expected to run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, with Lenovo’s custom user interface on top. This combination should provide a user-friendly experience with access to the latest features and updates from Android.
The Lenovo Z5S is expected to be made official at a press event today. As soon as we get some more details on the specifications of this new Android smartphone from Lenovo, we will let you guys know.
