Lenovo has revealed yet another new netbook to their range, although this one is slightly different than previous models as it uses NVIDIA’s Ion platform.
The Lenovo Ideapad S12 features a 12.1 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, a full sized keyboard, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI out and a built in card reader.
It is also capable of playing 1080p HD video, which is pretty impressive for a netbook, this is thanks to the new NVIDIA Ion platform which uses a combination of an Intel Atom processor and an NVIDIA 9400m graphics chip.
Other specifications on the Lenovo Ideapad S12 include built in WiFi, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and it will come with Windows XP.
The Lenovo Ideapad S12 is due to go on sale in June for around $449.
