This years iPhone 8 is expected to come with an OLED display, Apple will also launch two other new devices which will have an LCD display, the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus and now we have some details about next years iPhone 9.
According to a recent report, Apple will launch three new OLED iPhones in 2018 and one of these will be the iPhone 9.
The news comes in a report from the Nikkei to have revealed that Apple will be using OLED displays in all of next years iPhones, previous rumors had suggested that this would happen in 2019.
Apple is planning to use advanced organic light-emitting diode displays in all new iPhone models launched from the second half of 2018, according to two industry sources.
One said that Apple is tentatively looking at releasing three new models next year. Apple did not respond to an email seeking comments.
We are expecting Apple’s new iPhone 8 to launch some time in September, this handset will be their first device with an OLED display.
