The iPhone 6 camera is said to get a major upgrade over the camera used in the current iPhone 5S, we have heard various rumors about the camera for Apple’s new iPhone, and now we have a leaked photo from an iPhone 6 schematic.
The photo below is apparently of the new iPhone 6 camera on the 4.7 inch model, and the handset will apparently have a 0.67 – 0.77mm protruding camera.
Some rumors about the iPhone 6 camera have suggested that Apple will continue with an 8 megapixel sensor in the new iPhone, although it is rumored to have an improved sensor and more features than the current model, there have also been rumors that Apple may use a higher megapixel camera in the new handset.
It is not clears as yet on whether the iPhone 6 camera will be the same model in both the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch versions of the handset, both devices will also get a number of other updates over the current model.
The iPhone 6 will come with a new Apple A8 processor, and also a new fingerprint sensor, the handset will feature the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, Apple iOS 8 which is expected to be released a few days before the iPhone 6 goes on sale.
We are expecting the iPhone 6 to launch on the 19th of September, and Apple are rumored to be holding their press event on the 9th of September.
