Apple will announce their third generation iPad later today, the device is rumored to be called the iPad HD as it will most probably feature a high resolution display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
According to the guys over at 9 to 5 Mac, Apple will start selling the iPad HD or iPad 3 from the 16th of March, so we presume that they will start taking pre-orders on the device some time this week.

We are expecting Apple to start selling the new iPad HD alongside the existing iPad 2, and the new tablet is rumored to retail for the same as the iPad 2 did at launch, which would mean that the iPad 2 would be cheaper.
We will have full details on the new iPad HD or iPad 3 later today which is also rumored to to come with a faster processor and also a higher resolution camera.
